What does an app cost in the DACH region?
A transparent planning model for founders and operators: effort, duration and risks across prototypes, MVPs, business apps and platforms.
How to read this model
This is not presented as a market-price survey or an analysis of third-party quotations. It is an open TEX8 effort model. Cost ranges are calculated from person-days using a transparent model day rate of €850 excluding VAT. Existing TEX8 modules, subscriptions and exact requirements may materially change a quotation.

User roles and admin
Every role adds permissions, views, tests and support cases.
Payments and fulfilment
Payment status, refunds, payouts, delivery and failure states must align.
Integrations
External APIs, data quality, limits and outages increase delivery and operations effort.
Realtime and offline
Synchronization, conflicts and state transitions require deliberate architecture and tests.
Security and regulation
Sensitive data, wallets, health or finance require additional controls.
An oversized version one
The most expensive error is building everything before value and distribution are proven.
Method and reuse
Ranges include product analysis, UX/UI, app, backend, tests, store preparation, deployment and technical project leadership.
